Experienced Leadership Community

As a past practice owner, I know leading a team can be hard. I see you juggling multiple demands, taking care of your people and moving forward through challenges and uncertainty. You’re part of the team but the vision, strategic plan and success of that team rests squarely on your shoulders. It’s a lot and although you are surrounded by people, few can appreciate the challenges you face, making it feel a little lonely.

Evolve’s Experienced Leadership Community is designed for veterinarians, hospital managers and RVT’s in a leadership position working in clinical practice for at least 5 years. The goal is to build a Community of Practice (COP) around positive leadership in veterinary medicine with a group of like minded peers.

Cost for Experienced Leadership Community:

Veterinarians $575

RVTs and Hospital Managers $475

Emerging Leadership Community

Are you a veterinarian in clinical practice for less than 5 years interested in personal development and growing your leadership skills? Perhaps your friends are tired of hearing your “vet stories” and you need a place to share the excitement and challenges you’re experiencing at work? I have worked with recent graduates from around the world. I love your energy and enthusiasm and I value learning from you and with you. You are the future of veterinary medicine and I want to see you thrive in this amazing profession.

Evolve’s Emerging Leadership Community will provide positive support as you build your communication and leadership skills with a small group of like minded peers. Share your experience, learn from the experience of others and dive into topics relevant to emerging leaders in the veterinary profession.

What can you expect from a Community of Practice?

A community of practice (COP) is a group of people who share a common concern or a passion for something they do. Each month Evolve will provide resources around a specific topic or challenge facing the veterinary community and facilitate a 2 hour meeting that brings professionals together to:

  • Learn about emerging research and trends in organizational development and positive leadership
  • Share stories, strategies and resources for creating positive change
  • Enjoy learning from guest speakers in a small group setting
  • Support each other in the challenges facing veterinary leaders today

How do I sign up?

Leadership communities meet for 2 hours, bimonthly for a period of 3 months. Participants receive CE credits based on hours attended.

Tentative next session start date: October 2021

Leadership in Uncertain Times

"I really enjoyed being part of the 2020 Leadership Group and am grateful for the new connections developed through this group. As a practice owner it has been a unique way to connect with other leaders and feel less alone in the challenges we face. The meetings ended up becoming a bright spot amidst the chaos of 2020!"
